Sound and writing
Romanized, one symbol per sound, no silent letters, five vowels, twenty consonants, and simple CV/CVC syllables.
Ethra / The language
Ethra is the constructed language of Ethosism. Its grammar makes distinctions between duty, choice, repair, memory, and relationships explicit, so responsibility is easier to name.
How the language works
Romanized, one symbol per sound, no silent letters, five vowels, twenty consonants, and simple CV/CVC syllables.
Mostly analytic SVO. Particles carry tense, aspect, mood, scope, register, and moral agency.
Ethra distinguishes capacity, permission, desire, choice, duty, debt, vow, inheritance, entrustment, and repair.
Pronouns and registers make beloved, equal, elder, child, citizen, opponent, sacred address, and collective people visible.
