From principle to practice

How to practice
Ethosism

Choose one real situation. Face the facts, consider everyone affected, name your responsibility, and take one action you can review. Repair harm where you can. Repeat this daily and make one measurable correction each week.

For the full reading sequence and monthly review, see How to Practice Ethosism in the core book.

01 / The daily rule

Five minutes.
One next action.

Make a short note. Be specific enough to return at the end of the day and see what changed.

  1. What fact am I avoiding?
  2. Who is affected by my next choice?
  3. What duty is actually mine?
  4. What repair is overdue?
  5. What one action will I complete before the day ends?

02 / The weekly rule

A week of attention.

  1. Attention

    Name one fact without excuse.

  2. Duty

Separate capacity, permission, desire, choice, debt, vow, inheritance, and trust.

  3. Repair

Begin the smallest concrete repair that is owed.

  4. Stewardship

Maintain one entrusted material, bodily, financial, digital, or relational thing.

  5. Service

Complete one useful act without seeking recognition.

  6. Learning

Receive one correction from a text, person, or piece of evidence.

  7. Review

Keep one practice, retire one false obligation, and schedule one repair.
